Here
is the Africa of your imagination, where the plains represent “endless space”
as the elephants, wildebeest, zebras and giraffes, among others, migrate
en masse as far as the eyes can see. Located on the East Coast of Africa,
astride the Equator, Kenya is truly a land of contrasts comprising arid
desert, rich savannah land, mountains, large lakes and dense forests. Kenya
is best known for its wildlife sanctuaries and has established forty game
parks and reserves which occupy an area about the size of Switzerland. No
one park is a replica of another - they all have their own distinctive scenery
and vary in the diversity and abundance of wildlife, climate and altitude.
