Days Classic Kenya Safari
The tour visits Amboseli, Mount Kenya, Lake Nakuru and finally
Maasai Mara Game Reserve before returning to Nairobi where
the safari ends.
Day 1: Arrival - Nairobi
Arrival at Jomo Kenyatta International Airport. Met and
assisted. Transfer to your overnight city hotel on Bed and
breakfast basis, Nairobi Serena Hotel.
Day
2: Nairobi - Amboseli National Park
After breakfast drive to Amboseli National Park arriving
in good time for lunch. Amboseli National Park provides
the classic Hollywood image of Africa. Set in rolling savannah
scenery it is dwarfed by the presence of the pink-tinged,
snow-capped peak of Mount Kilimanjaro which, at 5,896 meters,
is the highest free-standing mountain in the world. Against
this magnificent backdrop roam vast herds of elephant accompanied
by lion, buffalo, cheetah, giraffe, baboon, gazelle hippo
and wildebeest. There are also over 400 species of birds,
all manner of reptilian, flora and fauna and some of the
most soul-searing views in Africa. The Serena lodge features
ethnically inspired architecture, natural material and a
glowing selection of local art.

The rooms, each with a view over the African plains, blend
an authentic nomadic aura with all the comforts of unabashed
five star luxuries. Guests can also enjoy an swimming pool
fed by the melt-waters of Kilimanjaro and game viewing terraces

Day
3: Amboseli National Park
Full day in Amboseli with game drives in the morning and
afternoon. All meals and overnight at Amboseli Serena Lodge,
B,L,D.
Day
4: Amboseli - Mount Kenya National Park
After an early breakfast, depart to Mount Kenya via Nairobi.
Arrive at Mountain Lodge Serena for lunch. Afternoon leisure
game viewing from the lodge as animals come to drink at
the lodge's floodlit waterhole. The only 'tree hotel' ever
to be built on the slopes of Kenya's legendary Mount Kenya,
Mountain Lodge offers a matchless game viewing opportunity
whilst combining a glorious panorama of mountain vistas
with the primordial splendors of an ancient rainforest.
Floating 2,195 m high on the flanks of Kenya's highest mountain
and secreted deep within her largest forest reserve, the
lodge offers not only the champagne-clarity of mountain
air, the tranquility of the forest and a colorful cavalcade
of wildlife but also the chance of scaling the icy peaks
of Africa's second-highest mountain. Afternoon leisure and
overnight floodlit game viewing. Optional nature walk can

Day
5: Mount Kenya - Lake Nakuru National Park
After breakfast depart to Lake Nakuru National Park to arrive
in good time for lunch at your Sarova Lion Hill. Set on
a plateau in an elevation above Lake Nakuru , Sarova Lion
Hill Game Lodge has 67 chalets all overlooking the lake,
within the Lake Nakuru National Park . It is the perfect
place to experience one of the world's largest ornithological
spectacles, The Pink Flamingo, or a rich concentration of
wildlife including black and white colobus monkey and is
also a famed Rhino Sanctuary. Afternoon game drive in the
park and around the lake. Dinner and overnight stay at Sarova
Lion Hill Lodge, B,L,D.
Day 6: Lake Nakuru - Maasai Mara
Drive to Masai Mara Game Reserve arriving in time for lunch.
Masai Mara National Reserve is a pristine wilderness of
haunting beauty, it promises its visitors a profusion of
wildlife, prolific bird life and the unprecedented opportunity
of catching up with all the members of the 'Big Five' in
one morning. The 1,800 sq kilometres of this veteran reserve
offers the classic mix of African imagery; miles of lion-gold
grasslands, shoals of lilac-misted hills, a meandering river,
acres of thorn-bush and mile upon mile of undulating wilderness.
The
Mara Serena Lodge is built in a traditional Maasai Manyatta
village of domed huts, depicting a true Maasai lifestyle
blending in very well with the environment. Rooms are en
suite overlooking the plains and with excellent game views.
It has a swimming pool overlooking a waterhole where big
game come to feed. Afternoon game viewing. Dinner and overnight
stay at Mara Serena Lodge, B,L,D.
Day
7: Maasai Mara
Full day in the Masai Mara with morning and afternoon game
drives. All meals and overnight stay at Mara Serena Lodge,
B,L,D.
Optional activities:

3. Nature walk: USD 45 per person
Day
8: Maasai Mara - Nairobi
Morning game drive. Drive to back to Nairobi to arrive in
the afternoon. Day rooms provided at Nairobi Serena Hotel.
Optional last minute shopping in Nairobi. Later enjoy a
memorable farewell dinner at the famous game meat restaurant,
The Carnivore. Transfer to Jomo Kenyatta International Airport
for your outbound flight, B,L,D.
